Community Researchers

Community researchers (CR's) were recruited to bring expertise and influence to the evaluation of the Fairness Taskforce. This includes supporting data collection, contributing to analysis and helping shape the overall direction of the work. They support the Young Foundation’s research team to gather learnings and recommendations about the impact the Luton Fairness Taskforce is making towards creating social change in Luton.

How does the Community Researcher role differ from the Enabler role? 

While Enablers lead with strategic direction, and delivery of the Fairness Taskforce themes and initiatives, CRs sit alongside this work – brining insight, reflection and evidence rather than driving activity on the ground. Enablers seek to shape and mobilise whereas CRs support understanding the emerging insights. The two work to compliment each other.
